We call upon
the National Assembly of Wales to support the creation of a
Glamorganshire Canal historical trail from Merthyr to Cardiff Bay,
indicating the major locations en route and other historical sites
in proximity to the Canal e.g. Hamadryad Hospital Ship, as a means
of encouraging interest in the regional history, tourism and
providing an interesting and challenging walking and cycling
trail.
